Man Hit by Car During Reported Foot Chase in Bangor

Bangor Police say a pedestrian has injuries after being hit by a vehicle during a reported foot chase.

Officers say a 32-year-old man told them he was chasing someone across the road who had just stolen his belongings when he was hit.

The man was hit by the vehicle at Broadway and State Street on Tuesday around 5:40 p.m.

He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Police say no charges are expected at this time.
