BROWNFIELD, Maine (WGAN) A Fryeburg man was killed after getting ejected from his vehicle on Tuesday night.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 news, 57-year-old David Chute was killed in the crash that happened around 7:40 p.m. on Pequawket Trail in Brownfield. Police say he was speeding when he lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over.

Chute died at the scene after getting ejected from the vehicle.

Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash, and that Chute was not wearing a seatbelt.
