Man Killed, Woman Injured in Lyman Crash

LYMAN, Maine (WGAN)  One person has died and another was injured after a crash in Lyman Monday afternoon.

Police say around 3:45 p.m., 29-year-old Alexander Hollis was driving south on Route 35 when he crossed the center line and hit the car being driven by 46-year-old Rachel Thurston.

Mcinnis died at the scene.  Thurston was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, though police say alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
