Man Missing in Acadia National Park Found Dead

The Maine Warden Service has located the body of a Bar Harbor man who went missing in Acadia National Park.

Wardens says 45-year-old Adam Emmett was found in the ocean off of Thunder Hole in Acadia around noon on Thursday by the Maine Marine Patrol.

He was reported missing on Monday. Authorities found Emmett’s car parked at a trailhead, which prompted the search.

His body will be brought to the state medical examiner for an autopsy.
