WATERVILLE, Maine (WGAN) A 7-year-old girl shot who was shot in Waterville last week has been released from the hospital.

Police say Emahleeah Frost was with her 6-year-old sister in their Waterville home when she was shot Friday afternoon. The bullet went through the wall of the bedroom where the girls were having an after-school snack.

Police say they still haven’t made any arrests.

Charles Frost Jr. tells the Morning Sentinel that he and the children’s mother are “completely outraged” that someone would shoot a young girl.

Emahleeah was released from the hospital on Thursday.
