Massachusetts man hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after crashing truck into Sweden home

The driver of a pickup truck that crashed into a home in the town of Sweden suffered life-threatening injuries.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office says the truck which was being driven by a 52-year-old Massachusetts man crashed into a home near 1 Lovell Road around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

The truck crashed through a wall and knocked down the chimney, which then fell on to the truck.

No one was inside the home at the time of the crash.

Investigators say speed appears to be a factor.
