Mississippi Man Arrested After Shots Fired in Bangor Neighborhood

A 24-year-old Mississippi faces man numerous charges after a standoff and arrest over shots fired in Bangor neighborhood.

Police say Trai Moore of Gulfport, Mississippi fired shots from a handgun while driving through the old Capehart area of Bangor early this morning.

Officers say a caller showed them security camera video that appeared to capture the shooting.

After speaking with witnesses, officers say they were able to locate Moore at a motel on Odlin Road, and arrested him after a short standoff, when he refused to get out of his car.

Moore was taken to the Penobscot County Jail, charged with:

Reckless Conduct with a Dangerous Weapon, Class C
Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon, Class C
Criminal Restraint, Class D
Resisting, Class D
Disorderly Conduct, Class E

Bangor Police did not say anyone was arrested.
