Minnesota man killed after motorcycle goes off the road in Knox County

A motorcyclist from Minnesota was killed when he went off the road in Knox County.

According to the Midcoast Villager, 28-year-old James Limmer was heading east on Searsmont Road in Appleton Monday evening.

Deputies said Limmer drifted off the road and hit some trees, and was dead before first responders arrived.

Police say driver inexperience was a factor in the crash.
