2nd graders reported missing in Topsham found safe

UPDATE: The Sagadahoc County Emergency Management Agency has confirmed that both girls have been found safe.

The search for two 7-year-old girls is underway in Topsham.

School superintendent Heidi O’Leary says the two girls, Olivia Burch and Sofia Garza, are second grade students who were last seen on the Woodside Elementary playground around 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

They both have brown hair and brown eyes.
