Maine drug agents arrested a mother and son accused of supplying methamphetamine to northern Maine.

44-year-old Leann Johnson and her son, 23-year-old Jeremiah Therrien, both of Presque Isle, were arrested there Monday for selling crystal meth.

Agents seized more than four pounds of crystal meth from their home on Dyer Street, along with about $10,000 in suspected drug proceeds, with the value of the drug seizure estimated at over $250,000.

The two were taken to Aroostook County Jail and each face several charges. Johnson’s bail was set at $10,000, which she was able to post. Therrien was denied bail and will appear before a judge this week.

More arrests are likely as the investigation continues.
