Motorcycle Accident Kills Litchfield Man

One man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Litchfield Sunday morning.

The Portland Press Herald reports 35-year-old Derek Parker of Litchfield died after crashing his motorcycle into a utility pole on Oak Hill Road.

Parker was riding without a helmet. Police say speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
