A two-vehicle crash Saturday morning sent a motorcyclist to the hospital via a LifeFlight Helicopter for non-life threatening injuries.

Cumberland County Sheriffs and Casco Fire and Rescue were called to the area of Poland Spring Road and Cook’s Mill Road Saturday Morning.

Robert Driscoll, 58 of Westbrook, was heading southbound on Poland Springs Road when he struck the rear of an ATV trailer that was attached to another vehicle.

Driscoll was transported to Bridgton Hospital from a LifeFlight helicopter for a non-life threating leg injury. The driver of the other vehicle, Nicholas Snowdeal, 33 of Harrison, was not injured.

Minor damage was sustained to the motorcycle and the ATV trailer. Driscoll was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Police do not believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
