A crash that left a motorcyclist dead in Auburn early Wednesday morning is under investigation.
The crash happened on Washington Street southbound near Miami Avenue around 6:40 a.m.
Police said the motorcyclist was unable to slow down and struck the rear of an SUV as it was changing lanes.
The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene after they were ejected.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt.
