Surrounding fire departments were called in to help with a building fire in Biddeford Sunday afternoon.

The Scarborough Fire Department said they sent a ladder truck to assist as an All Hands alert was issued for a fire in a basement.

A Scarborough ambulance was also called to assist at the reported fire on Clifford Street in Biddeford.

Injuries and the extent of damage are not yet known.
