Naples Man Seriously Hurt in Single-Vehicle Crash, Speed and Alcohol Believed to be Factors

On Saturday, A 21-year-old Naples man was seriously hurt after his truck collided with a tree.

Ethan Crockett was traveling southbound on Thompson’s Point Road when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a utility pole, and subsequently collided with a large tree, at around 2pm.

Crockett sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland for treatment.

Early on in their investigation, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office believe speed and alcohol to be factors in the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
