New Hurricane Evacuation Dashboard launched

Although Henri is not expected to make a direct hit on Maine, in the event a big hurricane hits us directly the Maine Emergency Management agency has launched a new Maine Hurricane Online Evacuation Dashboard.  The dashboard will help keep Mainers updated as to the track and intensity of the storm and show evacuation zones and help you find the fastest way out.

Emergency officials are asking Mainers to be prepared for the possible impact on Henri that is still forecasted to bring some heavy rain, wind and surf to the state as it arrives weakened Sunday into Monday.  CMP is prepared for possible power outages with 400 crews on standby.
