Maine has placed it’s tenth order of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The Maine DHHS announced Thursday that enough doses for 22,475 people were placed through Operation Warp Speed and the U.S. CDC. That’s 1,000 more than the order placed last week.

It also comes on top of 4,800 doses the federal government is providing through it’s partnership with 24 Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies in the state.

As of Thursday, more than 215,000 Mainers had received their first dose of a vaccine. That’s more than 11% of the state’s population.
