Northern New England cities beat warm weather records, including Portland

(AP) It felt more like spring than winter around northern New England on Saturday with record high temperatures set around the region.

Portland, Maine, hit a high of 63 degrees, beating the old record of 54 set in 2017.

The National Weather Service says Concord, New Hampshire also had record warmth with a high of 61 degrees.

There also was a record high in Burlington, Vermont, where the temperature was 59 degrees.
