Old Orchard Beach man arrested after Biddeford armed robbery

An Old Orchard Beach man was arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Biddeford Sunday.

Police responded just before 3 p.m. to Nibblesford, a cheese shop on Washington Street.

The suspect reportedly displayed a gun during the robbery, but no injuries were reported.

Following an investigation, police say they arrested 51-year-old Russell Pease.

He was charged with robbery, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a scheduled drug.

He was being held Monday morning at the York County Jail on $25,000 bail.
