Old Orchard Beach woman accused of running over husband with her vehicle


Police in Old Orchard Beach say a woman is accused of running over her husband after a fight.

Captain David Hemingway says a domestic disturbance was called in around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Temple Avenue and Saco Avenue. The man told officers that his wife, 60-year-old Tamara Kiernan, had run him over with her vehicle.

He was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

His name is not being released.

Kiernan was charged with domestic violence assault and is being held at York County Jail without bail.

The case is under investigation.
