One Dead from House Fire in East Millinocket

One person is dead from a fire at a home in East Millinocket.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fatal fire, which was reported around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at 17 High Street.

One person was found dead inside.

Their body was being brought to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta for positive identification.
