One Dead, One Injured in Dover-Foxcroft Crash

One person is dead while another has serious injuries from a single-vehicle crash in Dover-Foxcroft.

Police say they were sent to the scene in the 1400 block of Dexter Rd. at 1:20 am Sunday.

Officers say the driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Issac Weymouth of St. Albans was flown to Northern Light/Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

The passenger, 23-year-old Jersie Worley-Stewart of St. Albans, was found dead at the scene.

Police say the crash remains under investigation and no further details will be released at this time.
The Dover-Foxcroft Police Department was assisted on scene by the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office, Maine State Police, Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department, Sangerville Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance and Lifeflight of Maine.
