One Hurt in Naples Crash


NAPLES, Maine (WGAN)  Police say a Naples man was hurt following a crash Sunday night.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says around 9 p.m. Sunday, 48-year-old Patrick Connolly III was driving on Route 11 and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Route 302.

Police say Connolly’s car when through the intersection and hit an embankment.

Connolly was taken by Life Flight to Central Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police say speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, which is under investigation.
