CASCO, Maine (WGAN)  One person has died after a crash in Casco Wednesday afternoon.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Robert Hollingshead was riding a motorcycle on Route 11 when a pickup truck turning off of Route 121 collided with his motorcycle.

Police say Hollingshead died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck, 80-year-old Everett Davis, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours following the crash.

Police are investigating, but say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
