One Killed in Mattawamkeag Crash

MATTAWAMKEAG, Maine (WGAN)  The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a fatal crash in Mattawamkeag over the weekend.

The sheriff’s office says the crash happened around 8:42 p.m. Saturday night.  They say 51-year-old Steve Smith died after a single-car crash on Medway Road.

The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office at (207) 947-4585.
