BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  Two people have died after a crash between a motorcycle and a van in Bangor.

Bangor Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Union Street and Godfrey Boulevard around 10 p.m. Monday night.

Police say the driver of the motorcycle, 31-year-old Chaz Gray from Levant was pronounced dead at the scene.  The passenger on his bike, 29-year-old Adriane Mehuren from Bangor, was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center where police say she died from her injuries.

The driver of the van was not injured, nor were passengers inside.

Police say the crash is still under investigation.
