TOWNSHIP 34, Maine (WGAN)  State Police say one man has died after a crash in Hancock County.

Police say 53-year-old Gary Hasekll was driving on Morrison Ridge Road in Township 34 Wednesday morning when he went off the road, hit a number of trees and overturned.

Police say Haskell sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.

A passenger in the pickup truck, 47-year-old Pamela Ireland, was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center for non life threatening injuries.

Police say neither person was wearing a seat belt.

Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, according to police.
