A Mississippi man is facing charges in connection with a shooting in Bangor Tuesday night.

Officers responded to Hogan Road just after 9 p.m. for a report of a shooting. The suspect, 30-year-old Martavious Moore, allegedly shot another person during an altercation in the roadway.

The victim was in critical condition at the hospital.

About half an hour after the shooting was reported, Moore was located in a motel room on Hogan Road and taken into custody after initially refusing to come out.

More charges are likely as the investigation continues.
