One person killed in single-vehicle crash in Porter

PORTER, Maine (WGAN) Maine State Police say a Parsonsfield man was killed Wednesday morning when his vehicle slammed into a tree.

Police say it happened on Kennard Hill Road in Porter around 7:30 a.m. 28-year-old Dillon St. Pierre died at the scene. The crash was reported by a nearby resident.

Investigators have not yet been able to determine the cause of the crash but believe speed may be a factor.
