OSHA investigating fatal industrial accident in Penobscot County

Maine State Police say a man was killed in an industrial accident in Penobscot County on Tuesday morning.

Police said 59-year-old Gary Mullen of Veazie was killed in the accident, which happened at a rented building on Ames Road in Kenduskeag around 9:45 a.m.

Co-workers tried to administer aid after the accident, which police say involved a forklift. Mullen was declared dead at the scene. OSHA responded to the scene and will investigate.
