A Sabattus man is accused of running from police several times in Oxford County on Monday.

Paris police were called about a suspicious man on the John Henry Road in South Paris at about 6:30 am and found 54-year-old Daniel Laflamme, who they say was confrontational and refused to exit the vehicle.

They say he then drove off, got pulled over again, continued to be confrontational and drove off once more before stopping again.

Laflamme was finally arrested and faces a long list of charges – failure to give correct name and date of birth, passing a police roadblock, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, refusing to submit to arrest, operating after suspension and violating conditions of release.

Police say he has a history of hostility towards law enforcement.
