CAMDEN, Maine (AP) Heavy flooding from weekend storms led to road damage and travel difficulty in some parts of Maine.

Hard rain hit the state over the weekend. Flooding was especially significant in the Midcoast part of the state, WMTW-TV reported. The station reported on Monday that parts of Route 52 in Camden completely washed out.

Flooding damage also hit Biddeford and Saco. A piece of wall and pedestrian lookout area along the Saco River was swept away by water in Biddeford. Biddeford got half a foot of rain over the weekend.

The weather also led to power outages throughout the state. Central Maine Power said Monday that fewer than 600 customers remained without power by mid-morning.
