Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in Wilton

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck in Wilton on Sunday.

According to the Sun Journal, 29-year-old Levi Jewell had just moved to Wilton that day.

Police say he was walking on Munson Rd. near his new home when he was hit by a pickup that was being driven by a 29-year-old Farmington man.

Jewell was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not immediately say whether chargers would be filed against the driver.
