A Portland man was found dead in a parking lot at a Massachusetts hospital over the weekend.

Authorities in Massachusetts say 27-year-old Declan Perry was found dead in the back of a Honda Civic parked at South Shore Hospital on Saturday.

A residence about 10 miles away was searched as part of an investigation into Perry’s death.

A Plymouth County District Attorney said the victim and a person of interest, who has not been identified, were known to each other.

The medical examiner will determine a cause and manner of death.
