Person Reportedly Hit, Killed by Amtrak Train in Brunswick

A person is dead after being hit by a train in Brunswick Tuesday afternoon.

The person referred to as a trespasser appeared to be hit by an AmTrak Downeaster train in an area near Bibber Parkway in Brunswick.

WMTW reports an ambulance and numerous police cruisers were on the scene, along with the train that was stopped on the tracks.

The Downeaster train began moving again at about 5:20 p.m.
