Plow Truck Hits Pedestrian in Standish

Police are searching for a plow truck that struck a pedestrian in Standish. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says the man was hit around 5:49 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Northeast Road and Quail Ridge.

Authorities say he was walking along the street when he was hit from behind. Police are calling it a hit-and-run.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 News, police say the victim was wearing multiple layers, which likely saved him from any injuries. The man was able to walk home.
