More than 80 animals rescued from property in Solon

SOLON, Maine (WGAN) More than 80 animals were seized from a property in Solon Tuesday morning.

The state says dogs, cats, chickens, and horses were removed from the property and taken to an emergency shelter after law enforcement and humane agents served a search warrant.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been released.
