Police arrested two suspects for an alleged burglary of the home of the Eger family, where four people were murdered in April.

The son of two of the victims currently lives at the house and reported the break-in on June 19th. According to CBS 13, the burglars allegedly stole jewelry, cash, weapons, and other valuable items from the home.

Police obtained a search warrant for the house of 40-year-old Micheal Hall of Brunswick and 43-year-old Jeanne Doughty on June 29th. During their search police say they found the stolen valuables from the Eger family as well as U.S. Border Patrol duty gear including an issued weapon, a badge, handcuffs, and ballistic vest plates.

The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing and the suspects may receive additional charges.

Both Hall and Doughty are being held at the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset without bail.
