Police arrest two men for engaging a prostitute in Portland

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Two men are charged with engaging a prostitute in Portland.

Police said the arrests happened during a sting operation last Friday. The two men, 33-year-old Edgar Lobos and 50-year-old Ismail Nahayo, both of Portland, were arrested between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Friday in the area of Walker Street, for engaging an undercover female officer.

Both men were taken to Cumberland County Jail.
