Two men were arrested in Brunswick for hunting deer at night.

Police stopped a vehicle being driven by 36-year-old Lee Holbrook of Durham overnight Monday morning due to traffic violations.

The officer noticed a crossbow in the vehicle and two dead deer in the rear hatch, with Holbrook telling the officer the deer had just been shot from inside the vehicle.
