Police in Portland have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 21-year-old.

Police say Samuel Mugisha was last seen leaving his apartment on Auburn Street on Friday around 8 a.m.

This week, police said they were searching the Presumpscot River area.

Samuel is experiencing mental health issues.

He’s a black male, 5’11″, weighing 200 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a short chin beard. He was last seen wearing a khaki-colored hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and brown leather dress shoes.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Portland police.
