Police ask for help locating Lewiston homicide suspect considered armed and dangerous

Police are searching for a man considered armed and dangerous as they investigate a homicide in Lewiston.

Maine State Police say 25-year-old Lacresha Howard of Lewiston was found dead at a residence on Pierce Street on Sunday night.

The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.

Police on Tuesday obtained an arrest warrant for 40-year-old Eddie Massie of the Lewiston area for a murder charge.

Massie is a black man, 6’4″, 170 pounds, and walks with a limp. He goes by two street names, Fast Eddie or TT.

Police have set up a dedicated tip line for information leading to Massie’s arrest. That tip line is (207)-513-3001 extension 3324.
