Police ask for public’s helping finding missing Lewiston teen

Police are looking for a missing teen from Oakland, Maine and suspect she may be accompanying a 23-year-old man.

According to CBS 13, Lewiston police are searching for 15-year-old Lanie Nolan. The girl is a resident of New Beginnings in Lewiston, a non-profit that provides a safety net for young Mainers at risk of homelessness.

Police said Nolan was last seen March 18th around 2:30 p.m. when she said she was going for a walk. They believe she’s accompanying a man from California who she has been communicating with on social media.

The man may be driving a 2001 Ford Mustang with California license plate 5LQL188.

Nolan is 5’4″, 180 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt, gray pants and sneakers as well as glasses.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Lewiston police.
