Police charge Lewiston man after fight that led to stabbing

Police have charged an 18-year-old man who’s accused of stabbing someone during a fight in Lewiston.

Lewiston police say officers responded to the area of 300 Main Street around 6 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a fight that resulted in a man being stabbed.

The 19-year-old victim was taken to Central Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Isaiah Stufflebeam of Lewiston and charged him with aggravated assault.

He’s being held at Androscoggin County Jail on $5,000 bail.
