WATERFORD, Maine (WGAN) Police believe hypothermia may have led to the death of a woman found in Oxford County.

The Sun Journal reports police received a report of a missing person from a relative of a 48-year-old woman, who was last seen around 7:30 Sunday evening in Waterford.

Investigators say they believe the body found off of a logging trail belongs to the missing woman, and were working Monday to notify the family.
