Portland Police and Maine Game Wardens are searching for a missing Portland man in the town of Denmark.

Wardens say 29-year-old Samuel Kern told his family he had plans to go camping, but didn’t tell them a specific location.

He was last known to be in Portland on Friday. Over the weekend, his vehicle was seen at the Pleasant Mountain fire warden’s trail head on Warren Road in Denmark. Wardens have focused their search on that area.

Kern’s vehicle is a 2002 silver Toyota Highlander with a Virginia plate.

Anyone who may have seen Kern in the last few days is being asked to contact police.
