Police Have Arrested a 25-Year-Old Hollis Man in Connection with a Hit-And-Run

Police have arrested a 25-year-old Hollis man in connection with a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 12-year-old boy who was riding his bike.

Sanford police say Branden Osten was arrested Friday. He’s accused of striking the boy in Sanford last Saturday, then leaving the scene.

Police say they anticipate additional charges, and thanked the public for their help in the case.

Osten was brought to York County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash.
