LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine (WGAN)  Fire investigators have identified the person killed in a fire Tuesday night in Livermore Falls.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says the victim is believed to be 66-year-old Peter Dyer.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office is finishing final testing to establish a positive ID.

Investigators say the body was found in the first floor of the living room.  Investigators believe the fire started in that room and quickly spread to the rest of the house.

Two brothers, ages 13 and 11, were able to escape by jumping from an upper-story window.

Fire Marshals say the cause of the fire is undetermined because of the extensive damage to the home.
