Police Identify Man Killed in Fryeburg Motorcycle Accident

A man from Florida is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Fryeburg Friday night.

Police say 69-year-old Norman Lee of Merritt Island, Florida died in the accident.

Our info partners at CBS 13 News report Lee hit a rock and a utility pole as he tried to regain control after going off Route 302 shortly before 7 p.m. Friday.

Lee’s son and grandson were riding separate motorcycles nearby when the crash took place.

Police say Lee died on the scene after being ejected from his motorcycle.

Authorities don’t believe alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
