SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Police say they are searching for two “armed and dangerous” men who fled into the woods after leading officers on a high-speed chase Tuesday night.

Police are looking for Christopher Farrow, 32, and 29-year-old Dayshawn Middleton, who’s also known as “Day Day” or “Christopher Jones.”

Both suspects are from Connecticut and one of them is wanted for robbery in that state.

Officers say the men sped away from a traffic stop in Waterville.

Police pursued the vehicle as it traveled southbound on I-95 and then onto I-295. Officers say the men got out of the vehicle and ran into the woods after they exited 295 in Richmond.
